Common sorrel has been cultivated for centuries. The leaves may be pur?ed in soups and sauces or added to salads. Surprisingly, they have a flavour that is similar to kiwifruit or sour wild strawberries. Sorrel also provides a significant amount of fiber, very few calories, almost no fat, and some protein. In terms of vitamins, it is rich in vitamin C and also contains vitamin A, B-6, iron, magnesium, potassium, and calcium.

Please note that Sorrel is heat sensitive and grows best at 64 to 72 ?F (18 to 22?C). A higher temperature than 75?F (24?C) inhibits germination and normal growth.
It takes just one lamp arm to grow Sorrel. If the lamp is too far, your plants may stretch out and produce less yield.
You may start harvesting single leaves approximately three to four weeks after planting. Alternatively, harvest the whole plant after five to six weeks of growing – it is up to you.
Harvest all your Green Sorrel plants before seven weeks of age. This is to ensure it has the best taste and the highest nutritional value.
